Gettysburg church of Christ

We aim...

to love God and submit ourselves to him. Mt. 22:34ff; Mt.7:21
to do unto others as we would have them do to us. Mt.22:39; Mt.7:12
to deny self and follow Christ. Lk.9.23
to be transformed as servants of God, not conformed to the world. Rom.12:2
to look to Jesus not only as our Savior, but also as our Master. Lk.6:46
to be a spiritual family. Mt.12:50; 1 Cor.12:26
to truly be his disciples by remaining in his word. Jn.8:31

We aim not to...

be members of any denomination. 1 Cor.1:10-13
follow the doctrines and precepts of men, rather than the teachings of Christ. Mk.7:7
operate as a business, club, or recreational association. Mt.21.13; Rom.14:1
seek to attract the world by acting like the world. Lk.14:34

If you are looking for a church with the former aims then we cordially invite you to come visit us soon!

But if you've been looking for the latter, then we invite you to re-evaluate your goals and visit with us soon!

  • (03/22/2009) The new website is now finished. Some development and improvement will continue, but the bulk of all the work is now done. To view the website properly you need a newer browser. We suggest using either: Firefox 3; Google Chrome; or lastly, Internet Explorer 7+. These browsers are small enough to be downloaded by dial-up users, and are more secure and versatile.
